May and June

Here we go two months, otherwise I'll never catch.
May

May was a fun month. Elizabeth was full of smiles, but then again she is most of the time. At the beginning of the month we celebrated Savannah's 4th birthday.  Elizabeth was home sick unfortunately. Then we celebrated Katelyn's First Communion. It was a great weekend of celebrations and family time.

The next weekend we went up to Tahoe to help prepare my parent's house for renovations. They are adding on a family room downstairs and another bedroom upstairs. Hazel and Derek joined us as well. The three men worked on pulling up the deck outside, while us three women wrapped the furniture, took down blinds and pulled up the carpet for storage. It was a lot of work but we got it all done in one weekend.

The following weekend was Chris and my wedding anniversary. We treated ourselves for a night away. Our first night away from Elizabeth. It was very nice. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Pacifica, right next to Monterey. It was a great weekend. Our room looked out at the water. We went for long walks, ate in Monterey, and read our books, very relaxing. Elizabeth had a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa Sears'. She even slept the full night for them, her first full night of sleep. They must have tired her out! She hadn't done that for me. :( And hadn't until July.

Hazel, Derek, and us three went to the Botanical Gardens in San Francisco for some formal pictures and a day adventure. It was a gorgeous day in San Fran, but a little chilly. Elizabeth loved smelling all the flowers.  It was a very nice day out.

New Bath Toys. They stick to me!
GG Joan, Michelle, and Me at the Palo Alto Junior Zoo!
Our fountain wall is now a garden bed with a standing fountain.

 June

June started off with a birthday party for Luke and Kevin. Luke turned 2.  Don't mind Elizabeth's hair as I just had taken out her pigtails!

The majority of June was our trip to Montreal, Canada to visit Chris' brother David and sister-in-law Shannon.  Hazel and Derek flew with us and Andrew met us there. It was a lot of fun to be with all the Sears family in one place. It had been a while.  Montreal was beautiful, fun to be with family, and an adventure for Elizabeth. Although, I don't think she new she was in a whole different country.

Oooh! Water!!
This one is taller than me!
Afterwards....
Beautiful day.
Uncle David, can I have that sugar?!
Uncle Andrew, do you want your phone back??
How about your sunglasses?
Picnic in the park
Just loved the water fountains, had to go again.
Cathedral. Gorgeous inside. Never seen a cathedral with so much color.

Touring Old Town

What did we find?
At the Botanical Gardens

Auntie Shannon and Elizabeth at the lake.
I love water! This is so much fun.
We went to a science museum. Elizabeth had a blast playing the drums.
At the Biodome. Got to see a lot of creatures from 4 different habitats.
Very well put together. Highly recommend it!
